Note: Traxxas Power Cell LiPO batteries should only be used in vehicles equipped with Low Voltage Detection. All current Traxxas vehicles equipped with the XL-5 (w/LVD); VXL-6s; VXL-3s; VXL-3m have Low Voltage Detection (LVD). Older versions of the XL-5 speed control do not have Low Voltage Detection; see below to determine if you have the latest XL-5 speed control. The Traxxas E-Revo Brushless Edition and E-Maxx Brushless Edition are equipped with Castle Creations speed controls that do have Low Voltage Detection.
